What does a Cron Job mean?
October 22nd, 2009
A cron job is a Linux command for scheduling a task to be executed sometime in the future. This is normally used to schedule a job that is executed periodically – for example, to send out a notice every morning.
What you need to know:
To setup a cron job, go to cPanel, click Cron jobs, choose Standard. Note: We do not allow setting up Cron jobs on our Starter hosting package, if you need to set up Cron jobs you would need to choose Basic hosting or above.
You MAY NOT run a cron job more often than every 15 minutes.
If you are getting errors when using the get command, please contact us and request access.
