How do I Track Visitors on my site & how much Traffic does my site get?

We all want to know how much visitors our website is getting, where are they coming from, how long are they staying, which keywords did they use on what search engine to come to the website etc.
The above are very important questions and they become critical when dealing with a website which is getting you direct business. Would you not want to find out what is the conversion rate of your ecommerce web store?
The simplest way to get all the information is by using Google Analytics. If you already have an account with Google, just go to the dashboard and click on Analytics. Add your website and then take the code generated by Analytics and cut paste it to your website. Give it 24 hours to collect data and you are good to go.
